Welcome. You’re Not Alone Here.
If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve found yourself on a journey you never expected to be on.
Maybe you’re trying to conceive month after month and wondering why it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe you’ve experienced the heartbreak of a miscarriage. Maybe you’re navigating fertility treatments, injections, appointments, and endless waiting. Or maybe you’re carrying a grief that feels impossible to explain to people who haven’t lived it themselves.
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know one thing:
You are not alone.
This space was created for women who are walking through infertility, trying to conceive, pregnancy loss, IVF, and all the emotions that come with those experiences.
Why I Started This Blog
When you’re struggling to grow your family, it can feel incredibly isolating.
The world seems to be filled with pregnancy announcements, baby showers, and people who got pregnant without trying. Meanwhile, you’re tracking cycles, waiting for test results, recovering from another disappointment, or trying to find the strength to move forward after loss.
What I’ve learned is that so many women are carrying these struggles quietly.
Behind the smiles are women grieving miscarriages.
Behind the carefully worded responses are women going through fertility treatments.
Behind the silence are women wondering if motherhood will ever happen for them.
I started this blog because I wanted to create a place where women can feel understood, supported, and reminded that their feelings are valid.
When You Don’t Have the Words
One of the hardest parts of infertility, miscarriage, and fertility treatments is trying to explain them to people who have never walked this road.
Sometimes the questions are well-intentioned.
“Have you tried relaxing?”
“Everything happens for a reason.”
“At least you know you can get pregnant.”
“When are you going to have kids?”
And sometimes, you just don’t have the energy to explain why those words hurt.
You don’t have the energy to describe the grief of a miscarriage, the anxiety of a two-week wait, the emotional roller coaster of IVF, or the heartbreak of another negative pregnancy test.
That’s one of the reasons I created this space.
My hope is that this blog becomes more than just a resource for women going through infertility and loss. I hope it becomes something you can share with the people who love you.
A place you can send your spouse, family members, friends, coworkers, or anyone who wants to understand but doesn’t quite know how.
A place that puts words to the feelings you’ve been carrying when you can’t find the words yourself.
Because sometimes the hardest part isn’t what you’re going through. It’s trying to explain it.
If sharing one article helps someone better understand your journey, then this blog has served its purpose.
And if you’re here because you’re living this reality yourself, I hope every post reminds you of something important:
You are seen. You are understood. And you never have to walk this journey alone.
The Truth About This Journey
Infertility and pregnancy loss are more than medical diagnoses.
They affect relationships, friendships, mental health, self-esteem, careers, finances, and faith.
They can make you feel hopeful one day and completely heartbroken the next.
You may feel:
- Angry
- Sad
- Jealous
- Exhausted
- Hopeful
- Numb
- Anxious
- Grateful
- Broken
- Strong
Sometimes all in the same day.
And here’s something important:
There is no “right” way to feel.
Your emotions are not too much. Your grief is not too much. Your hope is not naïve. Everything you’re feeling is part of this journey.

A Letter to the Woman Reading This
If you’re currently in the middle of the waiting, grieving, hoping, or healing, I want you to hear this:
You are not failing.
You are not broken.
You are not defined by your fertility, diagnosis, or treatment plan.
You did not cause this.
Your story matters.
Your pain matters.
And no matter where you are on this journey today, you deserve support, compassion, and a space where you can be honest about what you’re going through.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s walk this journey together.
With love,
Emily
